You won't be in a crowded area. There are many items on the map such as trees, rocks and shelters where you can store weapons and ammo. The overcrowding may be a positive thing because there would have been too many deaths and not enough room for players. It's important to eliminate as many enemies as you can while still alive. It's likely that you'll die (eventually), so it's your job to kill as many opponents as possible. You respawn after being killed and the game starts over. You can also throw grenades (and they can too), change weapons, backtrack and roam.
